The tools we use. And what we think of them.

01Humanizer
DraftTaking the robot out of what AI writes for us, before it goes to a client.Free
Taking the robot out of what AI writes for us, before it goes to a client.
- What it is
- A free skill that rewrites AI text so it sounds like a person wrote it. It is built on Wikipedia’s guide to spotting generated text.
- Why we use it
- People stop reading the moment a text sounds like AI. Humanizer takes those tics out before a client sees them, and the text comes out shorter.
- What didn’t work
- It leaves structure alone. A text that repeats the same lesson in every section still does after. We still read it over.
- Price
- FreeOpen source. Already included in Hermes Agent. Otherwise, you need Claude (even the free plan) or a ChatGPT plan that takes skills.Price checked

The assistant all three of us use. For Andrés, it is also the model behind Hermes, and Claude Code for development.
- What it is
- Anthropic’s AI assistant, on the web, as a desktop app and on your phone. It writes, analyzes files and takes skills.
- Why we use it
- We trust it with the writing and the code that matter. And skills like Humanizer install in a few clicks, even on the free plan.
- What didn’t work
- Not written yet.
- Price
- Free to startPro at US$20 a month. Max from US$100 a month. Claude Code is included from Pro.Price checked

03Hermes Agent

Running the agency’s projects, drafting client emails, coding and handling the servers. Andrés reads everything that goes out.
- What it is
- An open-source AI agent that runs on your computer, plugs into your tools and remembers what you teach it from one week to the next. It comes with ready-made skills, Humanizer among them.
- Why we use it
- The follow-up, the drafts and the servers no longer go through Andrés first. And every correction becomes a rule Hermes applies the next time.
- What didn’t work
- Left alone, he writes like a brochure. He used to work around a bug instead of finding its cause. His memory has a size limit.
- Price
- FreeThe software is open source. You pay for the AI model you plug into it, by subscription or by use.Price checked

Handing the bulk of the code to cheaper models, Kimi K3 for complex work and DeepSeek V4 Flash for assembly.
- What it is
- An open-source coding agent, in the terminal or as an app, that works with almost any AI model.
- Why we use it
- The bulk of the code doesn’t need the most expensive model. OpenCode lets you pick the model task by task, and the bill follows. Four web components with Kimi cost us US$1.48.
- What didn’t work
- Not written yet.
- Price
- FreeYou pay for the models by use. Kimi K3 costs US$3 per million tokens read and US$15 per million written. DeepSeek V4 Flash, US$0.15 to 0.30 read and US$0.60 to 1.20 written, depending on the hour.Price checked

DraftStablyRunning OpenCode and Claude Code side by side on several tasks, then reviewing their work in one place.Free
Running OpenCode and Claude Code side by side on several tasks, then reviewing their work in one place.
- What it is
- An app that runs several coding agents at once, each in its own copy of the project, with a view of everything they do.
- Why we use it
- One agent at a time means waiting. Orca runs several side by side, each in its own copy of the project, without them stepping on each other’s toes.
- What didn’t work
- Not written yet.
- Price
- FreeOpen source. You pay for the agents and models you run in it.Price checked

The mood photos on this site, until we have real photos of our sessions, and the images in our posts, all in one style.
- What it is
- OpenAI’s image model. You describe a photo in words, it makes it. We use it through Replicate, a service that bills per image.
- Why we use it
- We don’t have photos of our sessions yet. One model and one way of prompting it across our three accounts, so our images look like one brand.
- What didn’t work
- Not written yet.
- Price
- About US$0.05 an imageThe Replicate price at medium quality, the one we use. Automatic quality costs about US$0.13, low about US$0.01.Price checked
